Ken,Love these, especially the moody piece at the top. You capture a yearning in that one. "On a windswept hill/By a billowing sea/My destiny sits/And waits for me."Like the blue on blue in the second. Could sit and absorb that scene by the hour, also. Nice work. More suited to my soul than the roiling oranges in some of your other recent work, although my wife, the painter, very much likes those.regards,rb
Ken-the second one made me very nostalgic. I grew up near the ocean, and when I picture my childhood beach in my mind it looks just like that.
soothing is the first one that comes to mind when I gaze at these beauties. Thanks Ken.
Hi Robert...what a surprise.I like the little poem...especially as I often contemplate my future when I look over the billowing sea.Make sure you catch some scenes in Italy for me to paint...there will be a reward!Hi KellyIt's a pleasure. I'm glad you have such good taste:)
Hi Ken, I found you on the DPW site, and just wanted to tell you that I love your landscape colors-- really fantastic!
Hi AnnComing from a portrait artist, I take it as a great compliment. Thank you.
Hi NothingprofoundI wonder if you will ever return to the sea. I have fond memories of this beach and visit often. I'd love to retire near the sea...and I will.
