Stranded

SOLD
They could do nothing but sit on the ice and wait for the thaw. This is our local lake...it's small but we enjoy walking around it...sometimes clock wise, sometimes anti-clockwise. On this occasion I was tempted to walk across. Thank heaven for a level headed wife.

Aye up me duck back! This is devine absolutely lovely, so much detail and atmosphere in such a small space. I could imagine this painting much larger.

Hi Diana
Thanks for the feedback, and yes, I'll be going large on this one.

Hi Scott
Yeah, it's ironic that it has warmth on such a cold day.

Hi Sharon
No, it was a one sitting painting, although I did use fast drying oils for blocking in.
